The Technological Classroom and Mobile Library project organizes a physical space equipped with furniture, computers, smart TV, printers, internet connection of good capacity, books and other educational resources that allow structuring courses, workshops and recreational activities to work with children ages 4 to 18 years (age of the three levels of the Honduran education sector) to strengthen the knowledge provided in schools and acquire new skills in 5 key areas: reading and writing, mathematics, technology, languages and art / sports. This training is focused on improving the children's skills so that they have better job opportunities when they join the Economically Active Population (EAP).

What kind of child do we aspire to have/form in the project?
We aspire to form a Honduran child with critical thinking and the necessary skills to be a citizen of the world in the XXI Century and to be a reference in any part of the world where he/she decides to live and actively collaborate in the construction of a just, equitable and resilient society.
General objective
Establish a physical space with technological equipment (computers, audio/video, internet, etc.) where beneficiary children have access to complementary training in the areas of literacy, mathematics, technology, languages, art/sports, critical thinking and values. In this way helping the children to improve their skills in order to have better job options for when they join the EAP.
Specific objectives
1. Make arrangements and strategic alliances to close 2023 with at least 15 computers, 2 printers, audio and video equipment, two bookshelves, 350 books and material to teach courses, workshops and other training activities.
2. Build a solid network of volunteers composed of at least 10 professionals with different skills for the structuring of tutoring, courses, computer workshops and other recreational activities for the training of children.
3. Generate strategic alliances with companies (through a membership plan) that are willing to invest in improving the educational process of Honduran children.
4. Establish the structure of courses, workshops and tutorials to define the groups of children by age and thus strengthen the skills of reading, writing, comprehension, critical thinking, mathematics and introduction to the different technological areas developed worldwide.
5. To build the habit of reading in the beneficiary children, with the goal of reading one book per month and to generate spaces for understanding and critical discussion, with the objective of strengthening reading and writing skills, comprehension, dialogue and other related skills.

What we do?
El proyecto del aula tecnológica y biblioteca móvil se inauguró en agosto del 2022 y se han atendido a 48 niños; hicimos un diagnóstico de las habilidades básicas de lecto-escritura para estructurar el plan de trabajo para el año 2023.
En este momento disponemos de 10 computadoras, televisor inteligente, 6 membrecías de Platzi para la formación en tecnología para niños de 13 a 19 años, 50 libros y otros recursos lúdicos y útiles escolares que nos permiten impartir los cursos dentro del aula tecnológica. Además los niños reciben merienda escolar cada día que asisten al aula tecnológica.
